Renaissance Now Theatre & Film, Incorporated, a 501C-3 Private Non-Profit organization, recognized in New York state and Renaissance Now Theatre & Film in Utah

Renaissance Now produces work that develops both new writers/directors/auteurs in theatre and film seeking to explore new form and to expose relevant concerns through the interpretation of classics.

Based in New York City for 10 years, the company has been responsible for producing a number of  film shorts, and established a producing relationship with the Bohemian Hall Astoria, producing A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Romeo and Juliet, with contemporary takes on the production.  Played in the Beer  Garden, July 2009.  Produced a number of staged readings developing new works in film and theatre.

For the last number of seasons, Renaissance Now produced Off-Broadway work at Theatre Row, and The Chain Theatre, and at The New Perspectives Theatre Company Theatre.  In Utah, the company produces at The Historic Castle Amphitheatre, and Rock Canyon Trailhead Amphitheatre.

Formerly New Renaissance Theatre, producing new writing and Shakespeare at the Rose Wagner Center for Performing Arts in Salt Lake City, and Sam Shepard festival at the Center Stage Theatre in Santa Barbara, California.
